2020 SSR XF250 rim change

17 rear will be fine for dualsport use, plenty of tires available.
I would gowith a 21" front if you can, that will give you the best selection of tires. Front end of your bike looks similar to an Orion RXB250L. If so Honda wheels may fit. I have an Orion and can compare front wheel measurements if you provide them.

The number on the front wheel is
J17 x MT 2.50 1218 DOT
Hoping this is what you are asking for I’m new to this.

If you would be happy with 19" then you are in luck. The bike comes withe either a 17" or 19" front wheel option. You can call SSR and order an OEM 19" wheel.

Those numbers describe the rim size. You need measurements of axle diameter and width to get an idea if a wheel will fit your bike. You would need a set of calipers to get decent measurements.
If you can easily get a19 from the dealer, that would be the way to go. It would fit without any modifications. Axle, hub, and brake rotor size would match.

I was wrong. There is no 19" wheel standard. The dual sport comes with an 18" front wheel option with a fat front tire like mine. The supermoto comes with a 17 standard up front.

An 18" front wheel would give you more DS tire options but still limited. I have used both the Shinko 244 and 700 model tires. For an 18" wheel your front tire size will be 4.60-18.

Be aware that your XF is Suzuki based so a DR200 (or other size) front tire might be a direct fit. Another option is to get a rim and have it laced to your hub. This might be the cheapest option based on the shipping charges from AliExpress.

Also, 2LZ's Qlink has a 21" front and may be a direct bolt on. You might still be able to order it.
