Stock mirrors on Brozz ?
I have the Brozz 250 sport , and I just can't get my mirrors to adjust in a position that does me any good. I can sometimes see what's way behind me , but in general I am very unsatisfied with mirror adjustment. The only solution I can think of would be the mirrors set wider apart. Do you fellow dual sport owners have this issue? ,Do you replace the mirrors with something that provides a better, closer rear view picture? Am I just not adjusting them correctly? I would appreciate any advice, because I hate to even stop, or especially turn left with the way they currently are. I am talking about turning on an unbroken line, but I still don't like the thought of it without knowing what's happening behind me.

Are you only adjusting at the top? Have you tried to adjust the angle of the stems at the base? I am a pretty broad shouldered guy and I could get a decent view from the stock Hawk mirrors after adjusting the stems to give me a better adjustment angle on the mirrors up top.

I may have resolved my issue, or at least made it tolerable. I went out to put my bike away, and I figured I would position it in front of my truck . I still couldn't get the picture I wanted, and then I noticed that the bar part of each mirror could be adjusted to give me just a wee little bit more width on each side, and that miniscule amount on each side helped immensely. I could see my truck in each mirror. It looked like my truck was off to my left ,instead of directly behind me, when I was looking through my left mirror, but I can get used to that. The truck looked like it was behind me when I looked through the right mirror.

The stock mirrors are so..so.. I’ve adjusted mine a few times. I usually have to pull my arms in or shift my body to see, especially if I’m wearing a jacket my shoulders get in the way. Adjustment of your bars and mounts for the mirrors will effect things as well. Did you install aftermarket bars which might be lower?

Spins, I have been wearing an insulated blaze orange hunting jacket, mainly for visibility due to me being inexperienced.

I’ve found the TBR7 stock mirrors to be crap. They will not stay put regardless of how tight I screw them down.
Is there a cheap alternative? I’m considering glueing them in place. |

I have gotten used to my mirrors. I think a lot had to do with my riding position, and lack of expierence . I think I was sitting too far forward, and riding hunkered down . I do catch myself leaning back to get a better view from my mirrors at times, but I generally see good enough with the stock mirrors now.
