TBR7 seat shaving results w/pics
I didn't like how the seat shoved me forward, so I pulled out half of the staples, peeled the cover back, and shaved the foam with a belt sander. Then I stapled the cover back with 1/4" T50 staples. In the pics you can see how much I shaved, and the result. My riding position is much improved. (I am 6'0) Here is what I learned:
1. I should have shaved it more. 2. Wrinkles are not an issue. (The cover is stretchy.) 3. My Powershot stapler needs a little more power. |

Nice Job! I've been wanting to do the seat on my Hawk for the longest time but never got to it. In the past year the Hawk has only been used for off road and has seen very little street riding so it doesn't bother me too much now. I'm standing on the pegs most of the time anyway.
