Ok so for tires you check the numbering on the current equipment or product information pamphlet then fin d your local/online motorcycle tire seller and use those numbers to search options applicable to your driving requirements.
Chains come in packet lengths based on the number of links. Because of sprocket ratios between the front and the back you may require more or less links...So typically you end up bying a longer length which might have to be cut down to suit. types of chain gets more complicated. The thing is these are Chinese bikes with limited dealer support and most aftermarket is purchased via amazon/eBay/aliexpress....requiring some amount of DIY or modification. Most basic questions can be answered via the search menu option. So it's no so much stumping the forum. Some veterans are just numb to repetition of the seemingly obvious. I understand you would like some help but there is a difference between looking for help and expecting it. |

Thank you. This is exactly what I was asking. How to do this. For some reason, everybody thinks I’m asking them to go buy me a chain or something. I don’t even know where to begin to find these parts. But I know I have seen things on here before where people have used Honda parts, or just grab parts off Amazon. I wasn’t really sure how to go about matching Honda parts with my motorcycle. And I wasn’t really sure about how it works when you buy a new chain. It’s funny that posts are saying that they didn’t want to find the chain for me but want to teach a Man to Fish. That’s exactly what I’m asking. How to fish. It’s funny that posts are saying that they didn’t want to find the chain for me but want to teach a Man to Fish. That’s exactly what I’m asking. How to fish. I didn’t even know where to begin. Now I do thanks to your post. Thank you. I may have 400 posts, a good background in a lot of things mechanical, I have reported on my bike plenty, participated in all sorts of conversations here. But this is the first time I’ve ever had any kind of motorized vehicle where I can’t just call out the year and the model and have a selection of parts ready. Other than KP Moto club. And that’s where I bought my gauge set. How did I find them? I asked on the forum where people were getting parts like that for the bike. And someone showed me the link. Makes no sense to get treated like this when you ask simple questions. Frankly, I thought this was a nice little community of people. I’m really surprised. When I see someone ask a basic question, I help them out. If I can. I just don’t have experience with China bikes before. This is my first one.
