Any help finding parts for this thing?

My neighbor's been pestering me forever to tune this scooter up for him. I've worked on it once before but finding parts for this is a royal PITA. Googling Rally USA Grido 50 gets me nowhere fast but looking at the type badges it seems this thing is a rebranded Longjia B2. The problem with this is according to the internet they started making the B2 at 2004 and this is a 2002 and if I'm not completely mistaken this one has a different engine than the 2004. At least the electronics are different as the CDi doesn't match. From what I can gather this engine's type is LJ1PE40QMB. The Finnish retailer of Rally USA, Modularbox oy has proven wholly uninterested in aiding us with this project.

Any info or help greatly appreciated. Looking for a big bore cylinder kit possibly 80cc, suitable carb to go with it, power exhaust, the works.

This is what I've gathered so far; the scooter is known as a Longjia Grido 50 around europe, but that doesn't take me too far as the info found with that name gives me the 2010-onwards version with the LJ50QT-H engine whereas the older B2 Grido has the LJ1PE40QMB engine which can also be found, for example, from a TNT Otto retro scooter.

Scooter parts express says the following:

Quote:
The Yamaha 3KJ JOG Minarelli (1PE40QMB 1E40QMB) (QJ50) 50cc 2-Stroke engine is a horizontal, single-cylinder, 2 stoke, forced air engine. This engine has a displacement of 49.8cc. The bore size is 40mm with a stroke of 39.2mm. The transmission is a CVT automatic transmission. These can be started using either electric or the kick start method. We support the air cooled, 10mm wrist pin versions of the Minarelli JOG engines including the JOG50, JOG90, 40QMB, E40QMB, 1E40QMB and 1PE40QMB. These popular 2T Minarelli engines is found on many scooters, quads, ATVs, and mopeds. The Japanese and Taiwanese version of this engine is called the JOG 3KJ . The Chinese version of this engine is called the 1PE40QMB. There are few differences between the two.

This engine is found on many Chinese, European and American brands including Adly, Aprilia, Benelli, BKM, CPI, Eton, Geely, Genuine, Italjet, Keeway, Malaguti, MZ, Polaris, Qingqi, TNG, United Motors, Vento, Yamaha and many more.

Here are a few of the many brands and models where the 2 stroke Minarelli JOG 50cc can be found: Adly Fox 50, Adly Hammerhead 50, Adly Noble 50, Adly Thunderbike 50, BKM XENON 50cc, Eton Beemer Matrix 50, Keeway F-CT 50, Keeway Hurricane 50cc, Keeway Matrix 50, Keeway RY8 50, Linhai PowerMax 50, MZ Moskito 50, PGO Genuine Black Cat 50cc, PGO -Genuine Buddy 50cc, PGO G-Max 50, PGO Genuine Rattler 50, Polaris Scrambler 50, Strada RX8 50, Strada 50, United Motors Xpeed-50R, Vento Triton 50, Vento Zip 50, Yamaha Axis 50, Yamaha Breeze 50, Yamaha Zuma 50, Yamati Minarelli 50 models and many many more....
So it`s basically a copy of the Minarelli 3KJ JOG engine.

I know the guy who used to distribute TGB 2T scooters here in the US, but he no longer deals with TGB, but may have some parts. However, It does not appear as though TGB uses a Minarelli design, and come to think of it, I think they are related to the Suzuki 2T engine, not the Yamaha, and I forget the name of it.

Found some more leads in europe like scootershack in UK and Maxiscoot in germany. It's just a royal PITA that you cannot order anything by make or model but need to cross reference everything by engine type or via other vehicles that use the same motor. Already found a 70cc Minarelli cylinder kit for a bargain but still need to source a carb, an exhaust and a few other bits n bobs but at least I now know what to look for
