has anyone came up with a solution or found any kind of pannier racks for these bikes? I am about to order mine and will be needing extra luggage capacity as I will be taking it on a 500 mile BDR trip and will be camping for roughly over a week there and back?

I never looked into the panniers as I plan on buying a KPT 400 next year if and when Venom get them. Dang EPA has been holding up quiet a few new bikes American Lifan is trying to get EPA certification.

I had no idea about the KPT 400! Maybe I will just wait and pull the trigger on it then! I need to look it up to see how hefty this bike is going to be.

Here's a good write up on the bike. Should be available for next summer and will be 2024 models. I got my name down for when they arrive. https://www.laitimes.com/en/article/2fb48_2rglo.html

Looks like an awesome bike! The only thing I am curious about will be wet weight, ground clearance, and seat height. Especially with those 17 inch front tires. I expected them to at least have a 19 front so it would be more off road worthy.

Various wheel measurements

I pulled the front and rear wheels off my KPX 250 (with 50 miles on it), and took some measurements. Here are the results for those of you that might be interested:

Front wheel:
weight with tire, disc, etc., but no spacers: ~18.8# (digital bathroom scale)
Tire dimensions, mounted: ~26.75" x 3.6"
Brake disc is ~265mm x 4mm
Axle diameter is 15mm

Rear wheel:
weight with tire, disc, sprocket, etc. but no outside spacers: ~32.4# (digital bathroom scale)
Tire dimensions mounted: ~ 26" x 4.9"
Brake disc is 220mm x 4mm
Axle diameter is 17mm
