wider seat.
1,800 miles and I have decided that a new seat will be going on lucy lu shortly after a new set of tires. I am looking for something that is a bit wider than stock.
Any of you guys added on four inches of width???? The seat of the bike of course..... stop being so self concious |

I have been thinking about the same thing. Those scooters seats look so much better.
What kind of tires do you want? www.americanmototire.com has served me well. Allen

does it make the bike any more of a pleasure to ride? 60 miles on my bike and I am ready to cry. Its to hard, to narrow and feels like I am sitting on a piece of 2x4 wood for an hour straight.

When I got my D/S the seat was high. After 4000KM's I could stand flat footed. I left the stock seat underneath so if I messed up re-doing the vinyl, I still had the original seat underneath. The lady at fabricland said she had lots of bikers come in for seat material. She saw the helmet at told me what I needed right away.
