Hello every1!!
Hello every1 , I had been looking around for another bike came across the 250cc Hi bird over at anam. And i was thinking to myself y is this brand new bike so cheap? Googled Hi-bird forums and some1 on another site had said you guys were alot of help. So here i am.
I was considering the hi-bird due to the fact that i really miss having a bike and the gas being how it is , the bike would be nice for every running around town. Can any1 tell me about how you come about parts for something like this, anam wont reply to my emails. Or if any1 knows of any good bike or web sites to check out for a bike around $1500. ANy1 else with a hi bird let me know you like yours. thanks |

Welcome, For around 1500 You could get an American Lifan and have a lot easier time getting parts although most of the China DS parts are used on many differant brands.

thanks ill check out vbikes, im actually into cruisers but i seen the hi bird and its a pretty lil thing. Just plan on using it for daily travel but ive been looking around and that 250cc legend looks nice wondering if i should jsut save the extra lil cash and get me the cruiser. Now i have no prob with 250cc my first bike was a 86 honda rebel when i was 17 and i loved that bike imnot a very big guy but 250cc is my limit. I want to at least have the option of interstate travel if need be. Love the site guys lots of info thanks for the welcome. xD

There have been some problems with some of the street bikes. I think a poll would show the D/S's to be more reliable, and for running around town I miss my little 150cc D/S. If I would have had a 200cc I would have kept it for another season for sure.

Hello and welcome.I have the hibird duel sport.I ride it every day to work and back.It has had zero issues a 600 miles.I can't ask for anything more out of it.I did notice that around the 350 mile mark it seem to get a little more zip.
