Mountain Ride on QLink Legacy
Howdy all,
120mi round trip from Elkins WV to Snowshoe mountain resort. Lots of faily steep climbing with my wife on the back. For the most part I was able to keep up with my friends. A few of the steeper switchbacks I was down to 40mph. I noticed the fuel gauge barely went below full after the ride. Highly enjoyable ride, perfect weather, great company. On the way hone I saw a silver Qlink Legacy coming the other way. They are easy to spot, what with the chrome speaker accents! Anyway, this is a great part of the country to ride this time of year. You lucky soul!
I only get to put around the northern panhandle. Oglebay Park is a good ride. Maybe I'll mount my cycle cam this winter and publish a tour of the Festival of Lights    Montani Semper Liberi, Tigertamer
