Bike wont start in neutral any more. Any way to fix this?

I have a gy200-2. It used to turn over and start in neutral with the clutch out.

Now the only way I can get it to turn over is to pull the clutch in.

This is not a big problem but it I would still like it to fix it if it is possible.

Look at your wire ball behind the headlight for the diode and see if has unpluged or a wire broke.

My clone will only start with the clutch pulled in. Sounds like maybe it fixed itself?

Mine won't start without the clutch pulled in. It's a safety thing to keep it from starting in gear. I agree with monkeyboy, sounds like it fixed itself.

The correct 2 wires actually came together, well that would be a first 8O

My wires don't attach, they detatch.

Same here. The latest is no brake light with the front brake, but works fine with the back, lol!

Monkey those are two different wires. Check, (don't smash with the hammer) the on off switch at the front break handle, it might not be engaging properly. I needed to use a dab of JB on the handle to make the switch close when the handle was released. Might be something else but that was my problem.

I have bypass the clutch safety switch so my bike will now start in gear. The wire broke off the diode so I just disconnected it and the clutch switch wire was pinched during assembly. I just spliced those together completing that circuit.

WARNING. Make sure bike is in neutral before starting or clutch is in.
