Clearcoat on Viva and Horn Mod
Sprayed some Plasicote Clear Lacquer over the decals and the flat finish on my Viva. Took lots of cleaning to get all the grime off the flat factory finish. The results were great:
http://www.chinariders.net/gallery2/...g2_itemId=8518 You can also see where i repositioned the horns. Just bent the metal bracket so the horns now face the opening in the tank fairing and no longer block the airflow over the head. ![]() The flat finish on the Viva was getting OLD really fast!!!! :x

Horns in the way of airflow over head
My Viva has been running quieter and smoother lately. Wonder if it is due to the repositioning of the horns?
![]() ![]() Maybe the gloss finish has cleaned up the airflow a tad as well. 8) My guess is that the horns(yes, the Vivas have dual horns) blocked about 50% of the the airflow over the head.
