Welcome. The x-ranger is about the same as the zong sierra. Lots of help for those lately.

Welcome to these forums, Michael! Also, welcome home, and thank you for your service to the United States of America.

Indeed, the QLink X-Ranger 200 is essentially a Zongshen Sierra 200GY-2 motorcycle. Please do post any problems you might have reviving your dormant motorcycle; we will do our best to help you get it running again.

If you do a search for "zongshen," "sierra," or "200GY-2," you will find a lot of useful information to help you get started.

Thanks guys!

I did find a link to the service manual which is an awesome help!

This bike is giving me a headache. The battery went bad, but I think I can match it to one at Walmart. Anyone know that?

1. Does anyone know how I can get another key made? Do China bikes match any other key blanks?

2. It has an oil leak! An oil leak with less that 500 miles on it. Looks like the shift level seal. Anyone know where I can buy parts like seals?

Thanks again!

-Mike

Mike, the correct size battery is the Yuasa YB7C-A. This battery will mount with the terminals forward, the X-Ranger seat will fit over it, and you will not have to lengthen your positive battery terminal.

Wal Mart does not carry this battery, but the Sears equivalent is battery #44041.

If you take your key to a good locksmith shop, they will be able to duplicate it for you.

Mike, the X-Ranger engine is a faithful copy of the Yamaha TW200 engine. You should be able to use the Yamaha TW200 shift lever seal. A great source of information regarding your X-Ranger’s engine, carburetor, and airbox, is the Yamaha TW200 forum.

Please keep us updated regarding your progress. Good luck!
