TMS200GY-5 Has ARRIVED in New York!!! Off truck- in basement

Well it showed up!!! I purchased from T-Motorsports and the GY-5 showed up as pictured and described. I am VERY excited!! The unit was shipped with Roadrunner Dawes (rdfs.com). It showed up in decent shape. During assembly I noticed that the plate bracket and signals were bent but no biggie. They probably bend em to fit it all in the box! The driver was nice and we used the lift gate to drop right on my 96 s10 short box pickup. It fit PERFECTLY in the back with the tailgate UP!!!! Like a glove!! Three guys shimmyed it over- two could have easily done it. Everyone at work had to see it ( I work at an Auto Salvage yard so, I'm sure u guys can imagine). I ran right home after work. A buddy of mine (ayjay1975 on here, another newbie) rushed right over and helped me unload it. we used a furniture dolly, and lifted off one end at a time- then rolled it down the ramp into my basement. The rest was easy. A basic socket set, drivers, a 12 pack, a couple trips to the garage for various stuff and we had it together. Rolled it out to the garage and it fired right up. Compared to ajay1075's the only difference iI noticed (other than color- his green, mine red) was that my kick starter had less play. His was sloppy and I think he took it off for now. Overall I am VERY satisfied. I started watching china bikes (and test rode a gy 150) about 2 years ago. I have been diligantly reaserching for about 6 months. This is Exactly what I was looking for. A decent start- on a budget. I plan to mod mine up so I will be taking pics and sharin as I have em. I am going back downstairs now. I want to tinker with cable routing, lock tighting and play some more. I will let u guys know of any findings.

Add some lube into your speedo. How long from when you ordered it until you got it? Did you get a title so you can make it legal?

Fun bike! I just took mine for a spin!

I agree with Suave on that one, mail your MCO back to T-motorsports with a letter stating that you need it filled out, I had mine back in less than 2 weeks properly filled out... Make sure in the letter that you include your return address... Calhome/T-Motorsports was very helpful, DMV on the other hand, not so much...

My MCO looks real enough and they didn't have a problem with it, they did have a problem with it not being filled out, I could have done what T-Motorsports did though, I could have just called and asked what their dealer# was and filled out the MCO myself, DMV would never have known...I have a friend at the DMV and he say's people will walk out in the parking lot after being denied, fill out what's missing and walk right back in...

Hey madogmiked. Glad to hear about your purchase. I'm sure you'll be happy with your new bike. I have the same motorcycle. Mine is also registered for street use. I put about 20 miles on mine today riding around town.

The shipping company said 3-5 business days to get it. It showed up in 7 business days (+1 weekend) so 9 days from order. It came with the cardboard mco. I am very experienced in DMV-ology and I have a plan to start with. I intend to fill out MCO myself (need to call t-motorsports for dealer # tho), get insurance, and go to redneck DMV on monday or tuesday. I also plan on being very nice and having all recipts with me. With a little luck that should get me through. If not the next step would be a different redneck dmv. I know ayjay1975 got his right on the road so I will basically do what he did and may even go to same DMV cause its only about 20 min away. Thanks for the pointers tho. Helps alot having some additional insight.

Gratz on the ride man. Check the swing-arm bolt for lube and torque as well.
