Turn signal "button"
I was riding down the road a while back, and when I went toactivate the blinkers, I noticed the button on the switch was gone. Just flat metal tab is sticking out of the switch. I can still use the blinkers but it is tuff on the fingers.
Anybody have an idea where I could find something to put on the tab to make the swich more user friendly again? I tried the Radio Shack but did not find a similar switch that I could rob the botton off of. Hate to buy a whole switch assembley. |

If it were me I'd take the switch apart, removing the metal tab that sticks out. Make a little mold out of wax or soap. Fill the mold with epoxy. Place the tab in the epoxy until it dries. Remove and reinstall.

Might try a tab off of a plastic flashlight, usually around a buck at the dollar stores, I'm pretty sure you could find something like that and epoxy it on.

I had that same thing happen to mine. I just took the switch apart, heated up the tab and stuck it in a piece of softish plastic. It's still there today!
