I just got your PM, Showgun; please excuse my belated response. If you want to convert to an 18-inch, rear wheel, I would recommend a size 2.15x18 rim. If you want an alloy rim, I can recommend the Warp 9 rims sold at Rocky Mountain ATV; these rims cost $87.99.

A 2.15x18 steel rim will be less expensive, albeit approximately 1 pound heavier. Without doing some research, I don't know a good place to buy a steel, 2.15x18 rim. However, most chinabikes employ a size 1.85x18, steel rim. You can get one of these steel rims from Roketa.com; they cost $25.00.

If you wish to lace the 18-inch rim to the stock, Zongshen, rear hub, you will need to order 36 custom spokes. I recommend you get the spokes from Buchanan's Spoke & Rim. A set of 36 custom spokes, with spoke nipples, costs $80.00.

I tried to order a rear 18" rim from Roketa for the front of my KLR. They did not have any. Tried to sell me the whole wheel for $90.
