For $99, delivered (in the U.S.), you can get a Trail Tech Vapor computer for your motorcycle.

http://trailtech.net/vapor.html

The Vapor computer has a digital speedometer, odometer, tachometer, engine temperature gauge, and clock. I have been seriously considering getting a Vapor computer for my Zong, but my stock speedometer is pretty rugged, and works well.

Yup, not a bad deal! If the speedo gives me any grief after I replace the drive hub, I will be going the digital route... I love all the different things that they do! (plus a trip meter for gassing up)

If it's not too late, perhaps you can cancel your order for the speedometer, and get a Trail Tech Vapor? Then you can have all the features you want, and you won't have to worry about the stock, mechanical parts failing in the future.

Alas, the money has already been sent and I believe the part was shipped this morning . I hadn't seen the Vapor that you posted before, only the Veypor's (which are a lot more expensive!) I am just hoping the hub gives me a reliable speedo again. I will be happy at that

Edit: Oops, just realized I hijacked the heck out of your thread. Sorry Alan566...

Alan, I just discovered the Zong can employ a JTR 471, rear sprocket with 50 teeth! Therefore, I recommend you switch to this rear sprocket.

Since you ride primarily on the street, you might want to keep your stock, 15T, countershaft sprocket combined with the larger, 50T, JTR 471, rear sprocket. However, the Yamaha TW200 employs a stock 14T/50T sprocket combination that is best for dual sport riding. I think you might be happiest with the 14T/50T sprocket combination.

At the risk of hijacking, here is a good post with photos on an installation.

I have one on my bike and like it.
