Pr Industries XTM-250
Hey,
I have one on its way. I'm on a budget but either way I want to have a wish list, any upgrade recommended? You can get a no rev CDI for Gios, will the same gio one work with this bike? Does it make much of a difference? I also emailed the seller to see if he sells them and will see what he says about the CDI. |

OK I don't know how to attach pics in this forum. What is this canister which is hooked up to the rear suspension? What does it do and are there adjustments which can be made?
Thanks |

upload to the photobucket and then when you put the cursor over the picture a box appears under it.. copy the link that has the [img][/img] code then come here and paste it.. |

it could be the canister that you see on giobikes.com when you look at their motors for sale.. the tube comes out of the crank case behind the starter.. have no idea what it is but on my motor the cansiter is not there and its just a hose that leads to under the frame

ok that is the resivor for the rear shock.. find some one with a tank of nitrogen gas.. and have them pump some into the nipple on the bottme of that canister.. also find a place to mount it, the tube goes into the top of the rear shock..

A local bike shop can do it for you, and it's usually not very expensive. They should be able to guide you on proper setup.

Thanks for all the help. I was hoping i would be able to adjust it up myself, at least I know what it is now.

Found out the canister was empty. No one seems to know how much pressure to put in there but someone told me 200 PSI. I got that much put in, don't feel anything different just sitting and bouncing it. Hopefully i notice something when I take it out next time.
I have a small screw on the base where the rear spring sits, I thought it was rebound so I unscrewed it. It just came out, no air, fluid, nothing. If that's not rebound its obviously to drain something. Should there have been pressure or fluid in there? Is there fluid in the rear like the front does? If so could that screw be for draining the oil? The canister came empty so if something should be in the other parts, I assume it's not there, makes me wonder about the fork oil....... |

in another area of this site some did a write up about taking the forks apart from another bike.. found out that they where rebuildable and needed new fluid..
shocks from giobikes.com are air shocks.. sadly if you want really good fluid shocks its going to cost you a pretty penny |
