headlight bulb,base no# h-?

I am looking too swicht out my(fred flintstone) headlight for a H.I.D light and I am haveing some trouble . can someone tell me what the base number is ? ,h-3,h-4, or h-7? for a 2008 Lifan 200,gy-5 thank you!!

If your Lifan GY-5 is similar to my Zongshen 200GY-2, you have a BA20D light bulb. Before you spend the money on an HID light, I encourage you to try converting your headlight to an H4 light bulb. I did an H4 bulb conversion on my Zongshen headlight, and I am very pleased with the results.

Motion made and I second...
I changed to the H-4 bulb on my GY-5 and was much happier with the light.
Follow Spud's instructions, I made it to complicated... :wink:
If you need any more info, post it up.

I was going to go with a HID also but I installed the bulb Spud recommended and it works great. plenty of light at night and you can buy the bulb at any auto parts store, probably at walmart also. That means a lot if you are out ridding and the bulb blows. Alan
