I'm out of the Pitster deal.

I was considering buying one but have talked myself out of it based on our collective experiance. I'm sure it rocks and would be a great value, but I need more security in either factory support or the aftermarket.

I'm keeping my humble Q. 8)

It's slow but has never broken or stranded or hurt me.

That's gotta count for something! :P

Hey Doc, maybe you can repower Q with a Pitster 400 engine. 8)

Except no one really knows what that engine is!

Like I say, Q's output is modest but it's not put me on my ass either.

To carry my silly logic (and thread jack) even further, I wonder if a DRZ400 / KLR400 engine would bolt in? That might be fun.

I think Lifan makes industrial type engines. Maybe clones of Briggs and Stratton or Kohler or Tecumseh?

It is a honda 6.5hp clone engine on a 1976 sears ST16. Not yet complete, but it is running and moving.

Since it is china related I will start a new thread on it.

It is not looking real good for pitster customer service at this point. Maybe they will get it all together for everyone.

I'm sorry to hear that, Fish. I hope Pitster Pro will quickly fix your problem; you should not be having this difficulty with a new motorcycle. :(
