Welcome!
I don't have experience with your specific machine, but I did cut a 200 atv muffler apart. See it here: http://www.chinariders.net/modules.p...wtopic&t=10760

Just curious, why do you want to remove the spark arrestor?

I have a spark arrestor in my YZ and it's plenty loud.
I'm not sure that it's the thing muffling the sound. |

I believe that others have cut the muffler apart and then welded it back together.
My recommendation is to just buy a better exhaust.

It's easy to make a generic slip-on work. Just measure the OD of the tube that enters to muffler, and buy a slip-on that will fit over that. The new slip-on will come with a clamp that will allow you to fasten the muffler to the same spot that the stock muffler bolts to (likely the frame section behind the seat.
Start looking on eBay to get an idea.
