First ride on new Lifan lf200gy's

My husband and I took our newly registered (CT) bikes out for a first ride yesterday. We bought a Lifan gy-5 and a gy-2. We had a blast considering it was a cold day. My bike is still a little to high for me. I'm only 5'1" and had to lower the rear shock and cut the seat down. But I'm making it work. I have no choice. The bikes are great. They are very light and easy to ride. They are under powered, but what do you want for a 200. They bog down a little on hills. They are lots of fun on back roads. I can't wait to get them up to Vermont and ride them on the dirt roads up there!

Hey there neighbor. The motors really wake up with about 250 - 300 miles on them. I swear my Roketa has twice the power now as it did new. Hills I used to have to shift down and hold WOT, I now pull in high gear at half throttle. No BS. Any way, have fun with the new rides and if you think you'll make it to Northern VT, give me a shout and we can have a mini ride in!
