How bad of a drowning are we talking? Bent rod? Crank damage?

If you are considering bringing an engine or engines why not look into a CG300 version which was mentioned in another thread. If you could get the engines and sell them for $600 or less i would consider buying one. Paul |

I'm fairly certain the CG300 engines aren't yet being imported into the US, and we don't really know much until it is in someone's hands on here (so it's possible bolt patterns are changed, etc. ), so I'd hold off on trying to import one until someone finds a way, you're probably sending him down a rabbit hole.

If you were in South America i would say, repair it. Parts are cheap, but in the US i think it will be cheaper and faster to just get a new engine.
