Hawk 250 Seat Bolts

Hey guys, does anyone by chance know the type of bolts size/thread that are used to hold the seat in place?

One of mine rattled off. Thanks in advance.

I don't know off the top of my head, I just stopped by to say I read the title as "Hawk 250 Seat Belts" LOL

It's too bad the damn thing is bolted on to begin with, you can't get under the seat easily which is silly as there's storage space.

I couldn't find one in metric sizes so I ran a 1/4-20 tap through mine and installed one of these wing bolts. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-Rep...-Knobs/4757889

Thread is M6x1.0 Length should be at least an inch, or 25mm. The link provided by Jersey to the thumb screws is a great way to secure the seat while allowing it to be semi removable if you also secure the side panels with them.

Great ideas! I put some small pieces of copper pipe on my screws about the width of the seat to keep the seat plastic from being chewed.

If one fell off, then you have one left. Take it off and run to the hardware store with it - they have a replacement.

I was just being lazy lol I was already out and about and got the replies I needed to get it while I was out.
