AGB-36 Apollo dirt bike to enduro build
Grabbed this from the Roketa dealer in town today. What a great bike. I would like to convert it over to an enduro as clean as possible. Orion makes a model that has the whole enduro kit. Any advice on finding these parts and converting it over? Is there a US version that has these parts?

Congratulations; that's a nice bike!

Yes I can get it registered in Texas. I ordered a tailight, wiring harness, and combo switch today. After work I took it out in the country to get some miles on her. I really need to raise the gearing to get a little more top speed. Found some mud but the skeeters were to bad to snap any shots of the creek bottom. I pinch popped the back tire crossing an abandoned bridge that had a gap, didn't realize it until I was at the car wash and the bike tipped over due to the air loss. I'll be ordering some new handle bars :( Does anybody know how I go about ordering the correct size bars?

I'm glad you can get a license plate for your bike, Itrack. I'm also glad you had a nice ride today, and got the bike muddy.
You have a wide choice of handlebars to order for your bike. I suggest you get aluminum bars. They are lighter, dampen vibration, and are very strong. Choose a style you like, then examine the sizing chart to find the correct model. For example, I like the Pro Taper SE handlebars. Pick typical 7/8" bars, rather than Renthal Fat Bars. If you currently have aluminum bars with a bolt-on crossbar, you might be able to fix them. Unbolt the crossbar, manipulate the bars back into position and then bolt the crossbar back on. That's the beauty of that style. I've used long pieces of pipe slipped over the bars to straighten them.

Bars are semi-universal. I like aluminum for the reasons discussed. Moose brand are very strong and pretty cheap. I have them on the YZ. Chinatubes generally suck and almost always fail. We recommend replacing them with high quality heavy duty tubes. Texas is a FREE state if there ever was one 8) Enjoy the ride. PS: I HATE mosquitos! One if the great advantages of living in the desert. I've not had a mosquito bite in years. :P

I would try to contact Orion in China directly. I actually saw an Orion motard for sale on Ebay, but after much research could never find any other ones being offered in the US. However, I did find a dealer out of California offering enduro versions of the 'uglier' Apollo model (maybe the '33') It did look alot uglier than the motard/enduro versions of the '36' bike like you have which I have seen many videos on youtube. Most of the videos are from Europe, so they are available there, too.

spud, did you end up putting a protaper ATV bar on your zong? i remember sth along those lines, but can t find it in the sticky.
a mate had a bent zong handlebar and found that the protaper bar didn t have enough lift, wasn t bent right, to fit the zong.

Well we rode it for about 3hrs off road on Saturday. I was on my CRF 230F and my cousin was on the Apollo. I still haven't stripped the bike down yet to locktite everything so the damage is my fault. He jumped the bike coming out of a creek and heard a metallic noise and shut it off. The lower shock bolt backed out and bent some of the linkage. Should be an easy fix. I will post pics up when completed.
