CRF230f Carb problem
So I removed the exhaust baffle, and intake restriction form the 230f today. I am now in the process of re-jetting the carb when the Klein "13" series 120 main jet snapped as I was installing it. I think it had a defect. I upped the pilot to a 45 and changed the long needle to the factory 03-04 needle and lowered the clip to the 4th position. What effect will putting the 102 factory main back in until I get another 120 main have on the running of the bike?

Yea I read that and others. What they installed is the fairly common Honda "power up" kit. It is better than stock but I'm going for better than the power up by following the advice of Mike "coeshow" Coe who has done extensive dyno testing of the crf230f.

Do you have a link to Mike Coe's information? How many hp does the stock CRF230F produce? How much more power do you expect to get from following Mike Coe's suggestions? Spud

Looks like he has good products. I don't think the new CRF250 D/S will help his sales though.

Everytime I read a post like this I think...
I must have a look and see if my XR250 has a inlet restricter... Then forget about it just as quick  .... old age thing I think...
