just a hello..
Hi everyone, I recently done my cbt and bought a kaisar ks125. Already it broke down lol. It was only a broken kill switch, that's fixed so I'm ready for the next fault lol. Can anyone tell me some common faults that I should look out for?

Hi and welcome
![]() I had a brush with a Kaisar about a year ago ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us The rider lost control of the bike on a tight twisty country road and dropped it in front of me... The bike went under the front of my van and the rider very nearly went under the back. He was a very lucky young man to exacpe with only cuts and bruises. Was a pity as the bike was in immaculate condition and was clearly his pride and joy. |

Congrats on getting your CBT done. I've read that the rules are going to become more strict next year. Are you able to get your full motorcycle licence yet?

Thanks for the welcome fellas. My plan is to get my 125 license in a few months, I'm not bothered about a bigger bike just yet, I'm still finding out wether bikes are for me. If I'm honest I'm pretty nervous still, expecting to end up under a van at every corner. Iv been driving cars for 17 years so not new to the road but riding a motorcycle is a completely different game
The kaisar ks 125 is a Chinese copy of the Honda cbr 125, it also goes by a few other names, lexmoto xtr and skyjet to name two they are all identical except for the name, I don't know why they have so many brand names. |

Hi, welcome to the site!
Where in the uk are you located? As long as you are sensible and defensive when riding a motorcycle then there is no reason it should be any less safe than driving a car. My best bit of advise is to always assume that other road users have not noticed you, therefore you will always be prepared to take evasive action if need be.
