83 Xr 350 frame and china engine??
Does anyone know if the XR350 frame is much different frm a xr200 in a 1983 frame?? I have a chance to get a full rolling frame for cheap
the other frame avail but not so good shape is a 82-82 xl200 with the metal tank. I have the spare motor.... just need to know if any of these would work. |

The 350 will not be a bolt in. The xl200 will probably be a bolt in.

X2. I've bolted a China motor into an '83 XR200R, and I'm about to do an '81 XR200. Same bolt pattern.

Thanks guys. I knew I was in the right year span but not sur eon the XR350 frame. The XR350 frame is excellent shape. the XL200 one is quite rough.
Hopefully I can get the xl200 frame. |

X3. Won't be a bolt in.
If you can find an XR200, you are golden. One of the best trail bikes I ever had was a Lifan powered 1983 XR200. The original Dirt Rat.

Well I am getting closer to finding one. It's not so easy in Canada to find them.

Not easy to find an XR200? I see XR200's in CL Vancouver every week.

yes, your right..just one issue- i'm on the other side of the province to pick up a deal in Vancouver.. not so much in the east kootenays.
I've had no luck finding one in Alberta yet either thats not a long drive away also. |

Keep an eye out for one on CL Vancouver. I'd be happy to pick it up for you.
