What's your bike? If 15/46 is pinned at 45, 17/46 is gonna be pinned at 55. What cruising speed are you looking for out of your bike?

Hey where abouts in NH are you? I am about 35 miles from the border crossing into Littleton. If you are close, we should plan to meet up once you get your "cruising" sprocket on. I have yet to see another China DS in VT.

I think we have the same bikes!! Remember I just ordered two new DB-07s and they sent the ones in my gallery with the instruction manuals showing DB-07B (RSM-200E) on the cover. What did your's say? I'll tell you what the MSO says when I get it. So far I'm very pleased with the overall ride and it should be perfect for the kind of riding she and I will do.

I think I have the same NST as you. Mine came with a 15F/46R combo. I found some tips in other postings and converted it to a 520 chain with a 14F/35R for road and got a 11F for trail (I got the parts at a local Honda dealer). It didn't take long to do the conversion and now cruises well at 55. It still seems to have good pep so I may go down to a 33 on the rear just to see what happens. I believe they are push rods engines from what I can tell but seem to be good bikes. The only problem I have had was the throttle sticking on a ride last Saturday night. Found a burr on the plunger that the needle rides on. If you feel any stickyness in your throttle you may want to check it before it locks up on a ride. It sounds like it has happened to a couple of other people from what I have gathered on this site. There are some good pics on how the carb is put together in the tech section.

That looks like a pretty good supply of parts there. Nice to know the guy cares and responds to questions.

I have checked at three different bike shops to order a 17 tooth/428/front sprocket. I have the list of bikes that match mine. No one can order anything bigger than a 15 tooth, which I have. My wife does not like sending credit card info over the net, so I won't do it. Getting a little frustrated  I don't know what I'm doing wrong, it should be easy. I think they are trying to order a 520 size and saying 15 is as big as they come.

If anyone is doing a 520 conversion, and they don't need their 17tooth JTF259 front sprocket, PLEASE PM ME :( Name your price, and I'll pay postage too.
