I'd take that trade!
The Blast is not very light, fast, or powerful. It is not blessed with a particularly good chassis or suspension or sophisticated motor. But... It is solid, simple, reliable, easily maintained and modified with a strong aftermarket support. It is low, small and easy to manage and fun to ride and comfortable with good mileage and range. Most of all I find it interesting, which is an important criteria for me.

Thanks for your reply Doc . I really like your thought process on this . I have seen the Buell blast ,she rode it over to see the megelli . I did not ask many questions at the time , Trading was not in my thoughs at all . I am thinking now that her and i should take a bike swap ride to see if we would both be happy . Her Husband/boyfriend ? Knows exactly what the megelli is and is happy if shes happy about it . the buell is orange so i think 2003 was the year for it and shows 9000ish miles . looks really clean , however i now think the biggest bonus is the ablity to get parts . Hard to tell about the megelli parts uk,china ,australia the later seems to be the largest market of megelli at this point .

I know very little about the Blast but my brothers' company was involved in the design of it. He said it was a pretty decent bike. Not great, not bad. Was used in a lot of motorcycle classes. Looked at one before the CX and I crossed paths.

I don't have personal experience, but I have read good things about the Buell Blast. I would accept the trade offer for a variety of reasons.
Parts for the Buell Blast are readily available. I really like the 500cc, air cooled engine. The Blast has self-adjusting hydraulic valve lifters and an automatically tensioned belt final drive. Spud
