First ride of 2013! (Finally!)

Just around town and on the highway for an hour or two, but it sure felt good! There's still a bit of snow around but at least the main roads were clear and it was above zero. Been a looong winter! I anticipate all the snow being gone around the end of April hopefully .

Edit: Actually, this was yesterday... We got a bit more snow overnight. Lol!

I haven't been out yet; too much bike work to do first.

It looks like the sun was shining upon you.

Yup, it was actually a really nice day
I was dying to get out and try the bike on the highway with the panniers to see if there was any ill effects from them catching the wind or anything

And? How were the panniers in the wind?

I'm glad you got to go for a ride, Stew! How well did the panniers work for you?

The panniers were great, no noticeable handling difference .
Now, if they were loaded and it was windy it might be a different story. Lol, that'll be my next test!

If our weather doesn't improve soon I might take you up on that offer Kato, I'll even help with the chickens! 8)

Trust me, you'll feel better when the hot, humid, summer weather descends on Kansas.
