Welcome back to the Cult of the Zong!

Taobao is the best way. You can not only get the parts you need, but also a complete wiring harness for cheap.

Go to www.taobaotrends.com and set up a free account. Let us know when you've completed that step.

Those parts are SAME price in http://shop73063236.taobao.com/ & http://shop35913498.taobao.com/
Domestic shipping of "73063236" is cheaper. They're using http://www.yto.net.cn

Battery -Read old posts of "SpudRider". Conventional "wet" type works fine if u look care of it.

Once a Zongite, always a Zongite. Congratulations on acquiring the Zong, Fish.

Yes, you do need to get the Zongshen parts from Taobao. Fortunately, HumanBeing has given you excellent links for those parts at Taobao. However, you can get the battery from a variety of sources. I recommend you get a YTZ7S battery for your Zong. You can find equivalent batteries at WalMart and Batteries Plus. However, I really like the Motocross YTZ7S battery I bought from this vendor.

The agent must confirm he can obtain the parts. After he verifies parts availability, he will ask you for payment, and the PayPal button will activate. Then you must wait for the parts to arrive at the agent's office. After you confirm he has the right parts, he will package the items, and give you a shipping cost. You then make a final payment for shipping, and the items are sent to you.

Fish, don't bother with that header pipe. A header from a Yamaha XT225 or TT-R230 is stainless and reasonably priced on eBay.
