Missing ignition and gas cap for an 09 Lifan 200GY-5.
I just purchased a 2009 200GY-5 for my wife but It is missing the ignition switch and the keyed gas cap. The seller had the bike stolen in 2010 and when it was recovered the ignition switch was missing . The owner has been using it that way ever since to check on his properties. I have not found a matching gas cap on Ebay but I think I can buy one of the press- in ignition switches used on several of the Chinese ATVs and scooters. I would like upgrade all the locks so they are keyed the same. Does anybody know of a good source for affordable Lifan parts? The bike cost me $500 and I will have to put at least another $100 into it.

You won't have any trouble installing the switch, since your bike is not equipped with a steering lock.
