XF 250 Fork problem and parts nightmare

My forks have felt lousy since day 1, there is a noticeable flat spot and they do not like to extend fully without binding. I suspect they were borrowed from a $100 Wal Mart mountain bike. I finally dropped the bike off at the shop the other day to see what's up and was told I don't have pre load spacers in left side fork. Also, the dampening adjustment screw has oil leaking from around it. The shop called SSR for parts and was told to pound sand, that they want to see for themselves. My mechanic may try and make some spacers from PVC but I was wondering if someone has ever found XF fork parts? Does Qlink still sell XF parts? I have given up on SSR for parts due to their poor prices and customer service.

I have gotten parts from UK Pulse Moto with great results. Two months ago I requested a chain guide from SSR and was told I have to go through the dealer in the LA area that I purchased the bike from. I called the dealer and like many times before was promised the part was ready to ship and to wait for a call back to confirm. 2 months later no call back and no returned messages. In the meantime I have made my own chain guide from wife's cutting board and epoxy, and ordered a spare from Pulse which I received within a week.

SSR parts are typically close to double the price of Pulse parts despite the exchange rate and shipping. I was quoted $29 for front brake pads from SSR, got them from Pulse for about $5. Unfortunately Pulse doesn't sell much in the way of internal fork parts, but worst case scenario I can get a complete Left fork for $189 from them.

Some good news is they have a XF Haynes manual for sale.

I'm sorry to hear of the poor customer service from SSR. I don't know if QLink is still selling parts, but here is a link to their website.
