Kpx gy 200

Can anyone tell me what these are cloned from? Is it the TW200 or some Honda? It has a Zong title.

The motor is cloned from a Honda CG125, and has been bored and stroked.

The frame is very close to an early '80's Honda XR200 (not the R version). The XR200 was a twin shock design, and you might even find shock mounts in the original location, behind the side panel. They are at the rear of the triangle, where it meets the subframe. They are commonly used to mount a rear rack.

In this version, an upper shock mount was welded to the frame, and a link bracket was welded underneath.

I'm surprised that it has a Zong title, but at least it has a title.

These were quite popular on ebay about 10 years ago. At the time, Zongshen was rebranding these to several 'brands' in the US. KPX were headquartered in Tucson. I remember the 125 and 150 bikes were popular, and then the 200 became available, and soon after, KPX stopped selling bikes altogether. I might have had to do with the EPA cracking down on the numerous, and growing, Chinese bikes entering the US.
