Cool boy in town

Spotted a GY-5 going down the road today, A red one. Easy to tell with that big ol GY on the tank....A couple was riding it...Young though, No helmets and shorts ..They were riding in the worst traffic my town has to offer...Hope they go buy a lid at least.

2-up on a GY. Wow. Mine struggles up hills with just me.

You will have to track them down and scold them for no helmets like we did you.

Trust me my verbal spanking did not fall on deaf ears

I stopped putting it off and feel better for it 8) ....Odd about Your GY though. My bike will pull two like nothing, I have not tried to do it on a main road and a steeeeeep grade, but it seems to have more than enough to do the job.

On the flat it would be fine, but there are alot of hills around here.

I'll find out soon enough, I am about ready to try to get the ol gal legal.
I plan to use it to get my permit...And a few other people want to use it for thier tests because it is so light and nimble.

Years ago, there was a guy in L.A. who used to rent out a small bike to take the tests. I think he charged $50, and would meet you somewhere for an hour to get used to the bike, and then you took the test on it. I was thinking of something like this in Yuma, with a Zongshen Sierra/Qlink X-ranger due to the lower seat heights.

These bikes are perfect bikes for the test, I have two people that want to use it right now for the ride. Not a bad idea to make a few extra bucks.

But what I think is funny is that they really like the china bike...Not one person has had anything bad to say..AFTER they have ridden it.

I think the whole anti-Chinabike thing has waned a little lately. I think that people taking the plunge and purchasing these bikes and their friends seeing and riding them in person have shown the world that these are o.k. bikes.

I still hear it, But I have let about five people ride my bike now..Some are longtime riders..They all liked the bike and were suprised by it. But they all thought these things were made of tin foil before that.
