available hawk oil filter?
For you china bike engine gurus out there, on the 239 motors , there is the large cavity on the low left side of the motor that on the hawk, has a small screen, and a large spring holding the screen against the interior surface of the crankcase. the size of this cavity is so disproportionately large compared to the screen, i have to wonder if it was originally used for a longer tubular oil filter, and the mfg's have just cut some corners. ( I think CSC has a filter meeting this description for their rx3. tho it seems a tad expensive.)
Any ideas?

Everyone will tell you it's not need. Just keep up with your oil changes.

I have not seen any of these 'traditional' CG clones ever have a proper filter. I can be most certain the upcoming CSC TT will not have one even if its 'big brother' RX-3 (which does does not use a CG) uses one.

Yes, centrifugal filter on the end of the crankshaft is identical to the Honda CG125.

Not only the CG125, but also the XR/XL 185/200 uses the same mesh centrifugal filter.
Another point of maintenance is to remove the clutch cover occasionally and dismantle the centrifugal pump intake for cleaning. We're not likely to find as much grunge with pushrod motors as those with OHC motors. If the cam chain in an OHC motor gets loose, it'll carve aluminum and deposit it in the pump intake. When mixed with oil, it looks like anti-seize.
