Early Birthday Surprise!

Mrs. 2LZ is an angel! She must have felt sorry for me having my old carriage rolling around on the cold garage floor wrenching on the bikes, so one of these showed up from HFT! :-)....or she wants to make sure that her new TT250 is handled properly....not sure which. ;-)
Either way, she's a keeper!

Man that is a very nice thing to have. Is it manual pump operated or do you hook it up to a compressor? Does it have any features or any way to remove and reset the wheels while the bike is up on the lift?

It's just a foot pump and release. You standard Harbor Freight bike lift. It's a 1000 pound capacity so it'll hold up Mrs. 2LZ Victory Kingpin, no problem. It goes pretty high. I'm 6'.
I thought about getting a bike off the ground to change fork oils, tires, etc...and I'll either see if I can put a jack on it or just use my normal high light mototrcycle jack for that work.

I can tell you this though.....I worked on both the X-Moto and Q this weekend and I'm not sore at all from getting up and down from the ground constantly, getting tools and swapping sides of the bike. Plus....all the tools I needed that I dug out of my box are within reach on the platform...on both sides of the bike. Made things fast and easy.

That would be the perfect addition to welcome a new bike such as the Hawk. It seems useful to me even at ground level for such things as assembling a new bike out of the crate, and lifting it progressively. Or is it all at once, meaning it is either on the ground or up in the air, and nothing in between? If it can be set to stay at different intervals, that would be great!

You can move it up and down wherever you want! Each pump of the pedal only moves it so much and holds it there. For the heavier bikes, there's a locking rod but for the little dualy's it doesn't even flinch.

I was spoiling myself. Need to take off the side covers? Move them to chest level. Check tire pressures? A couple more pumps brings them right up. I should have gotten one of these years ago.

She did ok on it too. Not sure about other states but here in CA, she got it for 299 at the "3 day sale" (not like HFT never has a constant sale) and here, that's a good price. Apparently she almost had the cashier talked into a 20% off coupon too until the store manager walked up and said that listed items for the 3 day sale can't be used with the 20% coupon. May as well try, right??????? ;-)

2LZ good one on the 20 off
Done the same . I had 2 floor Jack's that were not worth a Damm and let go in no time. However one I had from them , the 1st one, lasted for many years. Guess I am overloading them with autos . That Jack will be the failure point if anything, just watch it. Ha just like these Chinese bikes

We have said it before but I'll say it again you have a wonderful wife and a blessed marriage!

Looks like a great unit. I am at a point where rolloing around on a concrete garage floor is not as much fun as I remember either; that tool will be a boon to your comfort and motorcycle maintenence. Enjoy.

Buy that woman a beer!

I did get dang lucky this time around...and she's stuck with me for about 20 years now. Not sure what I did to deserve her. She loves motorcycles, guns, has a career, loves to cook, keeps down the gopher population, runs a chainsaw and log splitter!
