Clutch cable retainer band failure.

As I've mentioned I usually ride my hawk to work about 9 miles...so today pulling into the office garage I was immediately distracted by a gleaming new BMW s 1000rr a buddy has been threatening to buy when I noticed a smell of burning plastic.

I know others have had that little pos plastic band break so I probably should have replaced it sooner.

So being a resourceful China rider with a bike that begs to be repaired with McGyvered doodads I submit my handy work that allowed me to leave work and make it home in time for dinner without igniting my clutch cable....
