New 2007 models

Hello everyone.
I have brought in a load of these bikes direct and have been riding them for a few months. I havent had as much time as I would have liked but I am very impressed so far.
A few small issues ,battery box loose, sqeeky brakes and way too low gearing. I am replacing the rear sproket this weekend and hope to clear that problem up.
The new plastics are very flexable and are very tough. The rear shocks are a big improvement from my old gy and the over-all fit and finish of the welds and compnents are nice.
The 250 does pull a little better than my old 200 did,but sounds even more like a coffee pot than a motorcycle. I think I will do some exhaust work here shortly.
The fuel tank is metal ,under the plastic side covers, the seat is more comfortable, and a few more improvements to report. I will post a few more photos of them shortly.
These photos are from the factory just prior to shipping. I have a few during assembly at home and a few on the trail.
What do think ?

Thanks for fixing that Frosty.
I am adding a few photos of the one I have at home. I always have trouble with photo stuff.

Looks nice. Plastic really gives a more contemporary/less chunky appearance.

Definitely interested in hearing how the gearing improves things. Decent fuel capacity?

Out of curiosity, how many did you bring in?

I can't recall the fuel capacity , I think it's about the same as my old GY.
We brought in 12 of these, a 300 sport A.T.V and a couple 250 utility A.T.V's. A bunch of us just got together and sort of took the plunge. The bikes were all spoken for when the container arrived. We are doing it again and have another container landing in about 20 days.
I am not really interrested in being a dealer but it is suprizing how many people want one when they get here.
So far everyone is pretty pleased with them.

Besides the extra power over my 150cc, there are several other things I like about the GY 250. Maple leaf too eh? Sweet 8) .

Looks nice. Looks more suited for off-road then on-road with the knobbies, full frame and lack of a rear rack, but it's definately nice. What's the cost compared to the old 200gy's??

Yes the maple leaf,,, we like to keep people guessing you know. I designed the decals myself and had the factory put them on , We were asked to come up with our own name as well.
I didn't like the chinese stripes and there always seems to be a star somewhere. (nothing against those of you who have stars) So I went for my own design.
The chinese also must have liked it because a few weeks later I was looking at there web site and saw my decal designs on their new bike. They took off the name"I.T.R."but kept hte rest. If you look close you can still see my maple leaf on the factory photo.

Price was a little more than my 2 year old G.Y. about $200+ but that was a few years ago and I think by the time time we converted to U.S. This time we were about even.

I'm kinda surprised it has the push rod engine. I would think most would want the OHC in a 250cc.

Oh, I want one alright!

I'm still trying to get the other one back home! Still no word yet, on
whether or not QLink is going to warranty the frame and swingarm!

The ITR GY250 looks pretty good to me. I definately want one but I'm
getting serious about building a house again. The new steel roof goes on
in a few weeks. After that's done, house wrap, a garage door, doors and
windows! See, all my money is tied up!
