Hawk 250 sprocket problems
I recently noticed my bolts on my rear sprocket had rubbed the black arm next to it (the arm that the axle goes on, I just don't know what it's called). It looks as if the tire shifted to the left for a couple seconds and beat the crap out of the bolts. Everything is still functional but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone knows what causes it and how to prevent it.

Please post a picture or three ,it's hard to help you from your description but I suspect there is something seriously wrong with your bike .

it only seems to have hit the swing arm a few times and I have yet to see it reoccur. I did have to tighten my chain. When tightening the axle i thought i tightened it too tight so i loosened it and it seems to be okay. I just don`t feel like driving down the road and having my bike eat itself randomly.

![]() The bike feels fine. No issues... so may have been fod (foreign object debris) . Wise that you are keeping an eye on this stuff. If the bearing collapsed and allowed the rim to shift over I believe you would def7 know something drastic was wrong. Maybe it was battle damage from a rock. I dragged a branch .25 miles and only noticed till my brake was hindered by it.

It's pretty hard to figure anything out from the pictures ,but It appears blackbike is correct and something got stuck in there .Can you get the rear wheel off the ground and try pushing and pulling on the rim from the side to check for movement ?

Hello, I recently bought a Hawk 250 that was assembled by someone else and I think they left out the spacer you mentioned because there is noticeable damage where the sprocket bolts have hit it arm. Anyone have any clues where I can find this Spacer for the axle?? Very much appreciated!!
