Csc seat on Hawk

Now I can reach the ground almost flat footed with a 5'7" frame.

Wow! Good job! If you did that by yourself, you're a WAY better upholsterer than I!

I could not, for the life of me, get that seat kit to go on even remotely correct with all the bends and curves. I took it to an upholsterer and he had to steam the heck out of it.

Looks great!

Thanks 2LZ,it was not easy I had to redo it a few times and I had a hard time getting my hf air stapler to cooperate,I ended up using a hand stapler.I started from the back and worked my way to the front, stretching slightly and staple as I go.It was worth the hassle though,I like the quality and comfort of it.

Isn't that the truth? Seat Concepts puts together a nice setup. I love the tall seat on my RX3 amnd the low TT250 seat really finished it off nicely. The quality of the upholstery over the stock stretchy stuff really makes it.

Hmmmm Maybe I should have started from the back of the seat.

I did email Steve at CSC and ask if they had any plans of buying a bunch of seat pans and just having Seat Concepts make the whole dang thing. This "kit" is a royal pain and they'd sell a lot more of it was a complete seat. It couldn't bump the cost that much. I can't see a case of plastic seat pans costing very much.
