Tao Tao 2011-12 ata-250c-e question

The title is what's actually on the plate on the frame I have tried everything I can to figure out what model it is and can't the 250e's have three loops on the front guard I'm assuming that mine is a hybrid of the c model and e model, I know it's water cooled I got it from a co-worker for cheap. But it's been sitting for a while. Tring to get it running. But I want to make sure I'm getting the right parts since I don't have a great deal of spending money. Any help would be great. I'll load pics later. I have the wheels and body apart at the moment.

I can help you out, as far I remember the only toa toa water cooled atv' are the 300's. Which is there top line. If you got one on the cheap you did well. As far as getting it trail ready, don't guess be methodical in your diagnosis.

start basic: fuel, spark, compression! In that order whenever your ready for a more indepth explanation of each step I'll walk you through it.

Ty I'll post some pics as soon as I can I'm on my phone. Also I live in AZ just to give you a sense of what type of conditions I plan on riding in. We got the ATV for $1.00 lol he really just wanted to get it out of his yard. I know for a fact that I need a battery tires and the plastic piece that holds the headlight in. Not trying to restore it (yet). It's like the old pickup you want running but if it got damaged it didn't matter. Just want it to keep up with my daughters ATV (grandparents gift) hers is brand new crt125-1 by raytech. So we are all just starting out thank you. I will definitely be a bug in your ear looking for answers. Thanks again.

Actually Tao Tao did make a water cooled 250e. I own 2 of them. I can tell you that it has a loncin motor. You can go to http://www.eagleatvparts.com/ and find parts there for it. They are a little high on price but I find what I need there and then do a search at amazon or ebay to get it cheaper.

I think eagle parts is the toa toa dealer based out of there shipping yard in Texas? I've gotten a few things from them as well. I didn't know that about the 250e... I've got two of the 150 bulls I'm just finishing up with daves bumper steer fix.

That's cool man I'm in AZ as well, so if you need help I might be able to come by. I live in the city Maricopa down south just west of Casa Grande.

Thanks for this link, Speck. There are a lot of parts on there. I especially like the column on the right where you can see all of the parts offered by description rather then vehicle. Of course, they have that also.

NightHunter, not sure if they are the 250e or the 250c-e? Didn't know there was a difference. They are my have fun atv's. My other 3 are utility types. You can really throw the 250e's around on corners and hills. A lot more control and feel. They are a blast in the sand. Not too good in the mud but I keep trying

Ok so yours has the same type of front end as mine. Thanks now I feel confident that the 250e is what I have I think the marking is so that Tao Tao can stick any body from c-e but that's just my guess.
