Hawk shifter mod

Moved it one spline up , than took small pipe wrench as close to weld as possible, and bent it out about 30 degrees . Than moved small pipe wrench out about 2" than bent with larger pipe wrench it back to back straight with motor . Way , way nicer . So instead of buying after market hers another option . But a folding one sure would have been nice when I bend it via dumping it in its left side . Which really is only a matter of time . BTW 235 miles and counting .

Boots fit real well now . A must for off-road trail riding . I miss the day when all shifters were mildish steel. Honestly the simplicity of these bikes is once again sparked my full attention to riding off road again seriously. And when I do dump it a dirty one it's only a $1500 not $6k . Besides its all good training and keeping me in good riding shape for KLR. But I gotta tell ya she sure is making me feel old after a couple hours of riding her like I was a kid again.

I ended up buying the wrong MSR shifter so I cut the spline off the stock one and welded it to the MSR, all fixed.
