Home made Skid plate
I made a home made skid plate for my hawk2 / enforcer. Just made a cardboard template and trace onto the polycarbonate, cut the polycarbonate, drilled the bolt holes, heated the poly with a heat gun to get the curve I wanted and put it together.
Here's some pictures |

Sweet!
I was tinkering with the idea of using plastic until I got around to fanning a real one, and now I REALLY want one! Plus, we have some orange poly at work just begging to get mounted to my bike!

And figure out a door for the oil drain plug. Great job!

I didn't put a hole for the bottom drain plug on mine since I'd use the side plug on the engine. If I make them I'll put an access hole for the bottom plug on the plate. What do you think a fair price would be for one with all the hardware? There's about $20 in parts into it, then labor and of course shipping. ... and we can't forget the R & D department ... lol Thanks! Last edited by rwl6935; 05-09-2017 at 06:06 PM. |
