Coolster 70cc - Front Honda Fork delrin busings
I have a 2017 Coolster 70cc (Honda CRF50 replica), and I would like to know if anyone has tried to install the Honda Delrin fork bushings. It looks like the inner diameter will work, but not sure about the outer diameter of the bushing. my calipers don't go up high enough for me to measure the ID of the fork tube.

I measured a '98 Z50R front fork assembly I have here and came up with the following:
fork leg lower OD - 22.00mm fork leg upper OD - 34.21mm I then converted the bushing specs you posted above over to mm, for comparison: bushing ID - 21.89mm bushing OD - 29.97mm The forks are together, that's why there is no fork tube ID |

Here is what I measured. Fork Shaft OD - 22.00mm Fork tube OD where busing would be positioned - 34.28mm I did a little bit more researh, and found that the I.D. of the Delrin bushing is 22mm, and the O.D is 30mm. I took a rough measurement of the fork tube wall thickness, and it was around 2mm thick, so that would put the fork tube I.D. right around 30MM. I'm thinking it should work https://www.shore50s.co.nz/store/p42...XR%2FZ50_.html Last edited by Douglass; 08-07-2018 at 12:11 AM. |
