Atv tires bull 200 added tire wieght
I have a bad tire on the rear of my Taotao Bull 200, and am trying to decide which direction to go.
Option 1: Carlisle 2 ply 489 23-7-10, and Carlisle 3 ply 489 22-10-10. The set weighs right about 59 lbs. Option 2: BKT w207 23-7-10 6ply, and 22-11-10 (1" wider rear) BKT w207 6ply tires that wight about 73 lbs as a set. This breaks down as + 4lbs on each rear, and +3 lbs on each front. The BKT set is about 14 lbs heaver as a set, and I would like to know if this is a lot of un-sprung wight to add on an ATV, and if it is enough added weight that I will notice a difference in the low end torque? Thanks for the input. |

Your not talking much weight there. About 3 six packs of beer.
Can't say if it will effect the Bulls's low end torque much, would just get the tires and do a sprocket upgrade if you do. |
