To cold for the Hawk!!

Got a little cold quicker this year than I was hoping. Wanted to get a little more riding in this year but as cold as it's been in Mi. lately I decided to park it for the winter months. Gonna miss riding but it sure was fun this year looking forward to spring already.

It's the same for me. I'm so bummed down here in Ohio. The coldness just killed the bike.

It’s 37 in Texas feels like 29 and I rode to work today. I was bundled up but I got to invest in some winter gloves quick 30 min ride to work and I felt like my fingers were gonna fall off. Anybody can recommend some good winter gloves? My regular riding gloves ain’t gonna cut it. Help!! I know this ain’t nothing for y’all up north but I’m not used to it earliest coldest day in Houston history today we even got some snow today.

You may need mittens, Lit Hawk.

Fortunately, we still have warm weekends every now and then in Texas over the winter.

I’d wear mittens if it’ll help. I’m telling you today was brutal on my fingers. Coming home from work I taped my fingers and put latex gloves under my regular riding gloves and slightly better but not much. I had to see if it worked and nope need winter gloves. I rode last year and don’t remember my hands feeling like this.

Look on Amazon. They have heated gloves! If not those pocket warmers inside heavy snow gloves will do the trick. That's what been keeping my hands warm, you just need some thick gloves.

YEsterday was colder than today Lit Hawk! My neck was painful cold in that wind! haha I wear some alpinestars leather

similar and they seem to work pretty well for keeping my hands ok. Definitely not winter gloves but they're 'just' adequate enough.

Vader was slow to warm up after sitting outside all day. Once it was warmed up it was ready for some houston traffic

I wear a neck scarf from SA face shield. I got it for free. You could also use a ski mask wrapped around your neck.
