Thumbs Up New TaoTao TBR7 owner

Love the bike, only put a few hundred on it so far, been less than a week. The enduro tired on it can't handle the soupy stuff at all. Thinking about something more aggressive tirewise. But not much to choose from for 17' dead tires. Has a 110\90-17 on it now. Would a 130\90-17 fit or be too wide?

You're funny (culcune), I'm having good luck with the stock tires on mine so far as i live in the south west, oneleggedrider just purchased one of these bikes too and is having similar tire grip problems in the muddy terrain . Please open a new link in the 'dual sport' section with the tires you find as i may be interested in a more capable off road tire when the time comes. And others on the site will have options to consider when they need tires.

Welcome aboard.

I have limited experience riding on two wheel dirt, wiped out a few times on the stock TBR7 tires. They seem ok as rider error is probably the culprit for the moment - I would like to see someone's review on a good knobby tire that had some pavement quality as I will eventually want to travel 45-55 miles to off road sites.

Doh!

Ya, Oneleggedrider is my cuz and sadly he bif'd it on his hawk yesterday while we were out riding . Broke his femur in his "good" leg. Up at Grant medical in Columbus going under the knife as we speak. They're going to put a rod in there. Have him back on his bike before we know it , hopefully.

On a side note, would love to have his bike ready to rid long before he is. Is in impound at the moment. But I'm the one that moved it out of the way after wreck. Front forks are twisted a bit, good 6-8° off axis. Any recommendations on what to replace with... Stock vs. better/price wise?
