Black Hawk Down, and I got the worst of it.

It was my fault, riding too fast for conditions on a road I wasn't familiar with. Crowned a hill doing 60mph on a secondary paved road. And it was an unmarked intersection where I had to turn right or left. I overreacted and locked up the brakes, the bike slid left and then slammed right and threw up a bunch of sparks. My helmet did it's job well, it's all scratched up and broke the visor, but my head was protected and I never lost conciousness.

I knew right away my femur was broke so I calmly told Jay and the neighbor girl to call the squad and then just relaxed in the road till the squad got there. yesterday they put a pin in it and told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I can put my full weight on it.

As far as the bike the forks are either tweaked or bent, and the rest will require closer inspection. Jay was able to pick it up and roll it off the road without any trouble. Shoulda known better than to wash it lol. But it was my first accident in 30yrs, knock on wood..

I'd be willing to bet that the forks on the TBR7 are the same. Are available and in stock. This is for a pair https://partskit.com/product/118000

Compared to RPS for one. https://www.txpowersports.com/ricky_....100031.02.htm

I noticed you got a nice road rash on the hand. Ouch! I use Knucklehead X10 ArmorSkin Gloves. These are work gloves but found the fit and offer better protection than high dollar leather gloves. They are impact resistant, and have a high abrasive resistance. They also absorb vibration. You can also get them waterproof and thinsulate for the winter time. what's nice is they have Pre-curved fingers which fit perfect for throttle. Very comfortable. They also work on touch screens. https://www.amazon.com/Knucklehead-S...gateway&sr=8-2

A broken femur must hurt more than I could ever imagine. You're tougher than me, that's for sure. I hope you heal quickly.
