New Chinese bike for my Wife?? 😬

So my wife was watching me putting the new tail box on my TBR7 today and asked me if they make a bike her size? So she is a beautiful 5’2” little Japanese woman from Okinawa.
So the question is do y’all have any recommendations for me on what bike you would recommend for her? I was thinking about the Magician but I’m not sure if it is low enough. Maybe something that I’m not familiar with but something someone could recommend for me and I could research. I would like to have it for her by Christmas. So I only have a month or so to figure it out.
Also it would need to be a Dual Sport that I can get licensed in The Socialist Republic of Oregon. Lol.
I would like it to be able to cruise at at least 50mph.
Thanx for all your help in advance.
Duckman out.

Magicians seem to be popular with the ladies.

Yamaha XT225's are worth a look.

This thing came to mind, but the specs state 33" seat. This is a newer bike, and no one here actually has one, so not sure on cruising speed. I am guessing if it does not hit 50 stock, some modifications would help it out. https://www.orionpowersports.com/ori...embled-tested/

For a slightly LOWER seat, the full size Lifan X-Pect 200 states 32.7" and is reportedly higher quality than the rank and file Chinese dual-sports. One member states his new X-Pect has hit 65 to 67 mph, so probably more once broken in. https://americanlifan.com/208.html

My daughter is 5'3", and I bought her a Yamaha XT 250.
I know, not a Chinese bike, but they have a 32 inch seat height.
This Yamaha was a bit too tall for her, but the XT 250 fit her fine.
I see nice used ones for $2400 or so.

If you are only planning on some light trail riding the Lifan KP150 mini could be an option. Just swap out to some dual sport tires like Hellkitty did. Seat heights only 28.7". There's a guy I meet up with out at the spillway every once and a while that has a Honda Grom with off road tires. He pretty much goes everywhere I go with the Hawk.

Hey duck! Us shorter people are challenged. The xt250 above is a good choice as sandog posted. The magician for the money would be a good choice. Might be able to get a shorter rear shock. We shaved the seat on the mrs BMS, and you can find that on my bms thread. The seat cut is not uncomfortable. Also on that thread, I found a shorter shock, and that helped. I also have a ttr225, and I think a lowering link is available for that. In our area, the jap bike market is high, and the used is really used and or high priced. As I was writing this, the weight of the bike might be an issue, I don't know what the magician weighs in compared to the ttr225, ttr230, or the xt. I also wanted to add, the Yamaha bw 200, or the ttr125, something with electric start would be good. The Bw200 is a slow bike, I think. I am not an expert here, so you might have to check my figures. I like jerrys idea, and the xpect would also be a consideration.Stay in touch and if you get to Pocatello, on your way to SLC, look us up.

We got 2 inches of snow, and 15 degrees this morning.

The TW200 has a seat height of 31". It's an excellent beginner bike.

Duck, I have seen some tw200's really reasonable in our area. If you want a comparison, check out our local classifieds under ksl.com go to classifieds, recreation vehicles, then dirt bikes used, or enduro. will give you a price comparison to your market.

Another bike you could look at is the Suzuki RV200 AKA Van Van, Too bad nobody makes a Chinese clone of the Suzuki RV200 or TW200 in the US.

I can't say it enough, but the best way to get an idea of what would work for her would be to sit on some bikes.

I agree with the Yamaha suggestions. Sorry Chinese bikes... I was able to street legalize a ttr125 and it’s perfect for my sister and wife who are both of the shorter persuasion...

I’m sad the Chinese bikes, and even the big four don’t make something for normal people...

This

Even the crapiest dealer should allow you to sit on a motorcycle even more on an Enduro one.

Heck I want a TW200. That bike reminds me of the A10 Warthog. Just a fricken beast! I called Q9 today the lady there said that the Magician has an adjustable rear shock, although I personally don’t have any idea. Not that I can’t research it MotoCheeze has some great videos as well as other on the RPS Magician.
Thanx y’all for all the help. I mite look for a used TW200 the bike market here in the people’s republic of Oregon is crazy high.
Duckman out.

Yamaha Prices are crazy high everywhere, but let's be honest they do make beautiful bikes.
